  • It's a good idea to know what look you are after. This can be based on what you're wearing or where you plan to display the final portraits. I have many suggestions for locations. Let's talk about your vision!

  • Something you feel amazing in! Solids are better than prints, but subtle prints are ok. Remember we want to notice people first, clothing last. Having said that, you should look like YOU. If you rock a hawaiian shirt everyday, by all means, rock it at the photo shoot.

    In general, neutrals are good. If we're shooting a group, think BLEND and not MATCH.

    Darker colors are slimming. Bright colors can be a bit distracting. Lots of contrast not the best. (ex: someone in black and someone else in white)
